1/14/11: Yes, to those who are watching RoA, this is being resubmitted. Why? Because dA groups are infected with glitches, and this one deleted this reference from the group while I was organizing things. 2/2/11: Added a small note on her arms. Apologies on them being so hard to draw. (And Vespera herself, you could say.) Drawers, don't work too hard on it if she's giving you problems. It's fine.
Name: Vespera Age: Unknown Gender: Female Species: Alien-owl hybrid Height: Around 5'8" Abilities/Skills: It is known that she is blind, but she has the ability to sense another's presence in correspondence to how strong their emotions are. Any normal human, she wouldn't have trouble pinpointing, but if you've had practice being stoic, your exact location may be blurred to her. She speaks many different languages. (English, Spanish, regular languages or made-up ones, although it's not like she can speak every one fluently. Perhaps she knows fragments of one, or she doesn't know your character's language at all.) What else? You have an imagination, don't you?... Personality: She acts rather indifferent. However, she'll do what she must to get what she needs... or wants. She rarely loses her temper. You can't have that if you're governor. History: Something must have made her that indifferent... And why would she want to have that mask on all the time? Currently governor of Aleria. The one who thought up of and put the race into action. Other: The black things at her sides are indeed wings. Her arms are located at her chest, which is anatomically incorrect, but these things happen if you're a... you know. Anyways, the chest plates are there to secure her arms, because she's nearly had her arm pulled right off before. Because of this incident she's profusely protective of her arms. She has strange anatomy, almost like some parts of her were fit on in patchwork. The wings are in a normal place, at the shoulders, while the arms are centered in the chest, which makes it all the more complicated. However, one could mistaken her for not having wings, as they are usually tightly at her sides. Her helmet will not come off if you try. To pull it off without her knowing you'll have to knock her out; it is firm against her head. Also, the "ears" have been commonly mistaken to be ears. They're not. They're not part of the mask, either. They're a part of Vespera, and they're there in place of where her ears would be, if she had them. They do not move. She doesn't exactly appear to have the eyes or the beak of an owl.
When it comes to the helmet, are the sides symmetrical or not? I can't tell, since you have that other helmet facing right that has no eyehole. I bein confused.
No, it's not symmetrical. The left side is shown, but the right side is covered for who-knows-why.
